| In Hong Kong, as part of their sales and marketing activities, Melchers operates a highly efficient logistics function from a 50,000 square foot warehouse in a first grade purpose-built facility located close to the main container terminals in Kwai Chung. The standard of the facility and its location allow fast and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing containers as well as deliveries within Hong Kong. We also maintain space for special products in licensed dangerous goods warehouses within the territory. |  |

Our experienced logistics team, of currently 17 staff, use an integrated inventory control system, modern equipment and racking systems to handle incoming shipments and outgoing deliveries accurately and efficiently. They also perform a range of value added services for customers and suppliers including on-line stock enquiries, order tracking, repackaging and goods inspection. For deliveries, we employ local transportation specialists who are able to meet the special needs of our customers and our products. This is particularly important for the handling of time-critical deliveries, urgent deliveries and in handling products classified as dangerous goods. | |
